Jublia (generic name: efinaconazole) is a 10% topical azole antifungal solution prescribed for the treatment of fungal infections (onychomycosis) of toenails due to trichophyton rubrum or trichophyton mentagrophytes fungi. Dosage Follow the prescribing doctor’s instructions and refer to the enclosed patient instructions leaflet for further information. Regularly apply Jublia to affected toenails once daily for 48 weeks, using the flow-through brush applicator included in the pack. When applying Jublia, ensure that the toenail folds, the bed, the skin just under the free edge of the nail, and the undersurface of the toenail plate are wholly covered. Jublia is for topical use only on the toes and not on any other body part.

Side Effects: Jublia has only mild side effects, which should clear up once treatment stops. The side effects that may occur are redness, dermatitis, cysts and pain at the application site, exfoliation (losing dead skin cells), shedding of the nails, nail discoloration, and ingrown toenails. If they persist or worsen, consult with a doctor or pharmacist.
Indication: Onychomycosis is a fungal infection that affects the toenails or fingernails. It may involve any component of the nail unit, including the nail matrix, nail bed, or nail plate. It is contagious and won’t clear up without treatment. Jublia is intended to treat only the Infection of toenails with a fungus of the trichophyton family. It has only been tested on patients over the age of five.
