Prednisolone is a synthetic corticosteroid that can be adminstered into the eyes to decrease local inflammation, for example caused by chemicals, heat, radiation, allergy, or foreign objects in the eye. It is sometimes used after eye surgery.

Indication: PRED FORTE ® is indicated for the treatment of steroid-responsive inflammation of the palpebral and bulbar conjunctiva, cornea, and anterior segment of the globe. Shake well before using. Instill one to two drops into the conjunctival sac two to four times daily.
