Side Effects: Like all medications Reolin (Acetylcysteine 200mg) can cause side effects. Common side effects include a runny nose, nausea and heartburn and vomiting. Serious side effects include breathing disturbances, bloody sputum, fever, vomiting, runny nose and skin rashes. If you experience these then stop taking the medication and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Indication: Reolin is intended to reduce and break down excess sputum and mucus produced by the body. Some people who suffer regularly from asthma, allergies, chesty colds use it to clear up symptoms as a therapeutic or adjunct therapy. Larger doses are used in more serious conditions like cystic fibrosis, bronchitis, tuberculosis and pneumonia.
